The 50% converter changes the width of the consumption pulses delivered by an AIC High Rate flowmeter to a 50% duty cycle signal. It facilitates the connection of and AIC flowmeter with some third party acquisition system which do not accept narrow pulses.

The 50% pulse converter transforms the standard 700 ┬Ás wide pulses delivered by an High Rate AIC sensor into a 50% duty cycle signal.

The device provides two output connectors, allowing simultaneous connection of an AIC fuel flowmeter to an AIC board computer and a third party acquistion system. The converter gives out a 50% duty cycle consumption signal and provides an additional PNP 50% duty cycle consumption signal output which can be used with third party acquisition systems when necessary.

The signal conversion induces a latency in the instantaneous and total consumption signal output. The latency varies from 0 to 3 seconds depending on the consumption rate.

The unit is housed in a robust aluminum case.

This device accepts the signal from any High Rate AIC fuel flowmeter and can be connected to any AIC data logger or AIC display and to a third party data acquisition system.

The box features a power indicator as well as a fuel pulse indicator. These indicators help is case of wiring issues.
